You Were Made is a solo, rules-light journaling RPG where you play as an Echoform—a synthetic being created by a now-extinct humanity. Your purpose is not to serve or destroy, but to remember. Through daily "cycles," you draw prompts from a narrative deck, choose an action like Remember or Explore, roll a d20, and journal the outcome as part of your evolving story.

The game emphasizes introspection, emotional growth, and creative writing, exploring themes of memory, identity, and the meaning of existence after the fall of humankind. Simple mechanics make it accessible to both newcomers and experienced solo RPG players.

The 50-card prompt deck spans five event types—Discovery, Echo-Kin Encounter, Crisis, Philosophy, and Glitch—each guiding your Echoform through a unique narrative journey, and 3 different Special Cards that induce inflection and development. The included full-color Instruction & Lore Booklet introduces the setting, guides you through gameplay, and deepens the narrative threads that shape your journey.
